CNC Laser programmer

Responsible for producing machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies.
**Necessary / required skills (Education, Job Experience, special industrial expertise)**
2+ years experience
Solid skills in programing CNC machines (preferably 2D/3D lasers and press breaks)
Self-reliant and well structured
Very good communication skills and ability to work in a team
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
Open minded, positive mindset
Interpersonal and social skills

Nesting of programmed parts for maximum efficiency, Trumpf and Mazak 2D/3D laser equipment
Programming of Laser machines on new parts and troubleshooting existing parts as needed
Programming of Trumpf press break equipment
Production and capacity planning and control
Develop process improvements to effectively utilize equipment/materials to maximize productivity
Create work plans and parts lists; maintain material master data
Perform engineering analysis to reduce downtime and outage.
Support production cost calculation
